SCAENA TWO: THE SCHOOLBOY: FACE — Spring/Summer 2026  There is a violence in becoming.  SCAENA TWO: The Schoolboy explores adolescence as a period of resistance, discipline, and transformation. Inspired by the second stage of Shakespeare’s The Seven Ages of Man—“Creeping like snail unwillingly to school, with a shining face”—the collection captures the tension between childhood innocence and the expectations of adulthood.  Through the rituals of trumpet, tap, ballet, horsemanship, and farm life, FACE examines the formative power of repetition, frustration, and devotion. Each practice becomes a lesson in discipline, shaping the body and mind while creating space for individuality to emerge.  Reimagining the schoolboy uniform as both obligation and expression, the collection investigates the moment when structure begins to give way to instinct, and resistance evolves into identity. Youth is presented in its rawest form: restless, awkward, obsessive, and on the verge of becoming.  SCAENA TWO is a study of the years that shape us—a visual exploration of the space between who we are taught to be and who we are becoming. With a shining face and a reluctance to conform, the schoolboy approaches the stage of life before fully realizing that the performance has already begun.
